It’s a poorly kept secret that GRAIN has begun milling flour fresh to order for select restaurants around Vancouver. We’ve had so much positive feedback from chefs and bakers, which is why we’re are so excited to finally make our fresh flour available to you at our first-ever Flour Shop pop-up!
We’ll be set up at Main St. Brewing in Vancouver from noon to 6pm on Saturday, May 13th to offer a selection of freshly milled flours, along with sourdough bread and baked goods made exclusively with our flour.Mark your calendars, here are the details: we’ll be at Main Street Brewing on Saturday, May 13th from 12 PM – 6 PM, or until we are sold out. Why freshly milled? Our hand-crafted Austrian stone mill slowly and gently crushes grain at a low temperature, a process that produces beautiful, aromatic, highly-nutritious and delicious flour. The resulting product bears little resemblance to the typical, highly processed shelf stable flour found on grocery store shelves. You’ll notice the difference right away: the colour is natural, the aroma is unmistakable, and your breads, pastas, pizza crusts, muffins, pancakes and cookies will never taste better.
